New pattern: Peek-a-Boo

Here is another original design for your ordering pleasure. This pattern is neither loose nor tightly woven, but rather somewhere in between. Squares and rectangles comprise the main blocks, which are then sewn or crocheted together on the back. The flat edging mimics the design of the rectangular pieces. Lovey blankets worked in this pattern will have only one block. Lovey and carseat size blankets can have one or two colors: receivers and larger size blankets can be worked in up to four.

This blanket is 37" square, putting it into the crib blanket category. I worked it in matching shimmery pink and white yarn, alternating the center and outer colors on each block. It was custom made for Valorie.

Perfectly Pink and Periwinkle

This blanket is currently for sale on my etsy site. It's a double-strand weave so it's thicker and warmer for the upcoming winter. I made this blanket from the Bubbles pattern with pink and periwinkle yarn. It's a carseat size blanket, measuring 18.5" by 25." This pattern works particularly well for adding a name.

First custom order!

Tina requested this blanket for her third child's baby blessing. She chose the pattern and the type of yarn and I pulled it all together for her. I improvised a slightly ruffled edge based on the pattern of the blanket. It gives it a more finished look and also added a few inches to the size. This blanket measures about 27" square.

Lullaby blankets

I made these blankets for my nieces Kea and Kai'a from the Crochet Lullaby Blanket pattern copyright Coats & Clark. (I cannot sell blankets created from this pattern.) Each blanket measures approximately 39"X39" (crib blanket size).

Simply Striped Receiver

I made this blanket for my friend Wendy and her baby Malia back in January. The pattern is Simply Striped, and it has a popcorn edge treatment. For this blanket I chose to vary the width of the stripes. This blanket was created from my original design.

Camo bubbles carseat blanket

I made this blanket for my friend Starla and her baby boy, Conner from the Bubbles pattern designed by Deneen St Amour and recreated by permission. It is a car seat size blanket and measures approximately 19" by 27." The blanket is done in camo ombre with light sage name detail.
